App Settings¶

Setting	Description
Audio On	Sound effects on/off
Show tags after opening	Show sensor/actuator labels after loading?
Target Framerate	The target frame rate should be set to 60.
Time Scale	Accelerating or decelerating drives. Default=1. 0.5 would be deceleration by 50%. Note: If the acceleration is too strong, the 3D installations will no longer function properly as the physics engine is unable to calculate the virtual world correctly.
Brightness	Brightness Settings Default: 1.4

Here you can adjust the sensitivity from 1-10 using a slider.

The default in each case is 5.

Here you can adjust the display quality from 1-4 using a slider.

The default is 4.

Setting	Description
Port	The port for communication. Default=8080
IP	The IP address of the device server. Default=localhost
Connection	Connection Type Default= tcp://
Resulting Connection	For control purposes, the resulting connection is displayed here.
Selected Network Interface	The selected network adapter.
`...`	Use this button to select the network card.
`Default`	Use this button to reset the settings to default values.

Action	Description
Remove all camera positions	All defined camera positions are deleted without further prompting. You can redefine individual camera positions at any time with `Shift1` to `Shift9`.
Open dialog: Remove list of recent files	The list of the last recently opened 3D models in the Open dialog will be deleted.

Setting	Description
Sensors	Do you want the sensors to be labeled?
Actuators	Do you want the actuators to be labeled?
Statistics (FPS)	Do you want to turn on the FPS display? FPS = frames per second For a smooth presentation, 30 FPS are necessary. The ideal value is 60.
Hardware Information	Should the hardware information be displayed?
Static Objects	Should static objects be visible or not? Usually these objects are visible. However, if your PC is too slow or if you want to have a better overview of the moving objects, you can turn off the static objects.
Static Decorations	Should the decoration objects be displayed? If your computer is not powerful enough, then you shouldn't select this setting.
