Navigating in the 3D Environment

Navigating with the keyboard:

Button Description
Strg → Move the camera to the right.
Strg ← Move the camera to the left.
Rotate the camera around the vertical axis. Set the rotation point with a right mouse click.
Rotate the camera around the vertical axis. Set the rotation point with a right mouse click.
Move the camera up.
Move the camera down.
Bild↑ Tilt the camera horizontally.
Bild↓ Tilt the camera horizontally.

Navigating with the mouse:

Gesture Description
Hold down the right mouse button
and move the mouse pointer horizontally.
Rotate the camera around the rotation point (vertical axis).
Hold down the right mouse button
and move the mouse pointer vertically.
Rotate the camera around the horizontal axis.
Hold down the scroll wheel
and move the mouse pointer horizontally.
Move the camera to the right and to the left.
Hold down the scroll wheel
and move the mouse pointer vertically.
Move the camera up and down.

Tip

You can adjust the sensitivity of the mouse and keyboard in the settings for mouse/keyboard control.

Saving and recalling camera positions

Using the 1 to 9 keys, you can recall camera positions that have previously been saved with Shift 1 to Shift9.

The camera positions are saved in a file and are available after loading the 3D system.

Using 0, you can access a fixed camera position that shows an overview of the 3D plant.
